I did this with my seven year old. Start to finish we were done inside 20 minutes which is perfect for kids short attention span. Super safety features but all ingredients seem safe to use. Can do unsupervised. Can't wait to test out the quality of these bad boys in the bath. great confidence builder for future projects. Can be used several times if recipe followed but for the amounts of molds included you can triple the recipe.

The Science Academy: Bath Bomb Lab is a must buy set for any child into science or loves this craze of bath bombs in their bathtubs! I’m impressed with everything that comes in this box; the goggles, gloves, measuring cups, fragrance, spoon, molds for the bath bombs and so much more!! It is such a fun way to introduce children into science plus making bath time that much more fun for them! The kit suggests for children 8+ but with my husbands help we let our 6 year old daughter make her bath bombs! There’s so many reasons to love this kit! The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was because when she took the bath the bath bombs didn’t give much of a fizz in the water, but she made the smaller ones. Perhaps the larger molded bath bombs give more. Regardless, I would still recommend this set to any lovers of science and/or bath bombs!!

I bought this for my son and I did read the reviews but I am going to try to anyway and allow it to harden overnight. The problem is, that we lost the instructions and I am hoping you can post them for me.

Fun to make, but doesn't work. Never hardens. We will try to leave it overnight, but it doesn't seem wet enough to make it work. Very disappointing. We have other kits from Mind Ware that work great, but not this one.

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift. I agree with the other reviewers. This kit is a total flop. We tried all the suggestions and tips and experimented with it; let it sit longer... same issue with bomb not staying together. Too bad. She also got the soap lab and that works awesome. I would highly recommend the science academy soap lab instead.

Although this is GREAT for teaching experiments and procedures and following directions... the end product fizzes out. (Pun intended). The bombs never really hardened and didn't work in the tub
