Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this. Our family has had a lot of fun with it so far! My nine year old loves science and has loved being able to feel like a real detective. Her favorite part was identifying fingerprints and hidden messages. We think fun activities that promote learning are the best and would definitely recommend this kit! We will be purchasing it as gifts in the future as well!

Great for Preteens
I recieved the Science Academy:Detective Lab from the weeSpring Parent Panel to review.
My 11 year old absolutely loved it, her favorite activity was the Chemical Analysis. The directions were very easy to follow, our only inconvenience was in the beginning it stated everything that was included, but didn't specify items you'd need from home until each specific experiment. It definitely was nice to have something at her level to enjoy. It can be hard to find games that are enjoyable for all ages

Fun for all!
I received the Science Academy: Detective Lab from the weeSpring Parent Panel. My family was excited when I pulled this out for our weekly family fun night. Our kiddos range from 2-11 years old. Our 5 year old was able to play assisted from an adult while the 10 & 11 year old enjoyed using their own detective skills. We try to always look for activities and games that promote learning. This is a good option to meet that need. The quality of the game could be stronger but overall good! Worth it.

Great for future detectives
I was given this detective kit as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I wasn’t sure what to expect but figured it would be fun for the kids. I have a 9 and 6 year old who love to watch all thing involving police. My 9 year old daughter wants to be a detective ironically.
They were so excited when I told them about this detective kit. They actually sat at the table and semi quietly listened to all the directions for the fingerprinting, and made up their own crime they had to solve.

Challenging and fun kit!
My 11-year-old son loves science kits so he was excited to try this one out. His favorite activity was the Identifying Fingerprints. The directions were easy for him to follow and included pictures that reassured him that he was correctly completing each step. Challenging, exciting, great time for the whole family!
The Science Academy: Detective Lab brought our family together for several nights of excitement, experimenting, and working together! We play games and do activities as a family often so this was perfect for our clan of 7! Our 8-year-old led the investigating and learned the importance of following directions while being challenged in his critical thinking. Great Detective Fun!
Having 4 young kids 9 and under we always look for some fun and active games to enjoy. They are huge fans of mysteries and love to solve any case they can. The Science Academy: Detective Lab held their attention, felt very “real-life” and allowed each of the kids a chance to participate and work together. Lots of Fun and Learning!
We really enjoyed the Science Academy: Detective Lab. My 9-year-old is very into science and was super excited about this! He's done several of the activities, and needs some assistance completing them, but we enjoy doing it together (my 6-year-old liked to help too).
