Disappointed with Sand Lab
I have purchased a lot of MindWare products for my kids and have LOVED everything... until the Sand Lab. I did the lab with my kids (6 and 3 year olds) and it did not turn out as expected. The sand seemed really dry. It wouldn't form into the molds at all. The directions say to make blocks out of the molds and then stack the blocks. There is no way this sand would do it. It just falls apart. The directions says to form it into a ball and add craters like the moon. Again, you can't form the sand into a ball. It just crumbles apart. I did the actual "experiment" while the kids watched so I can't blame them for it not working.
