I bought this for my son for his eighth birthday. He was so excited and begged me to do it everyday. The kit included everything we needed with the exception of water. Items were all individually packed and clearly labeled. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.The first time we used it, we made two stress balls,one squishy slime ball and one oobleck stress ball. The "balls" are actually balloons filled with various materials. I worried about the durability after seeing them, and those fears were quickly realized. Unfortunately, the squishy slime ball broke within 24 hours and the oobleck ball broke the next day. It was short lived fun that resulted in some major messes. My son is so disappointed and I'm afraid to make the remaining four balls out of fear for the same results.

My 9 year old just got this lab kit and had a ton of fun making all the squishy balls. However, each squishy ball lasted only a few days and each ball exploded all over my house. What a mess!

I was excited when I saw this for my kids. However they aren’t “balls” they are actually balloons. I was very disappointed in this product. If I knew it was balloons and not actual balls I never would of purchased. I could of made slime and stuck it into balloons without this kit. If we didn’t already use it I would send it back for a refund.

This truly is the gift that keeps on giving! We used the kit at a birthday sleepover, how fun and educational of us, right? We made the ooblek ball, the cosmic squishy ball and the relaxing jar. First, the ooblek ball burst during a remote learning session. Friends reported their cosmic squishy ball burst on their carpet within minutes of coming home. And the relaxing jar fell off our table and dye and glitter abound! If you don’t mind giant messes for a few minutes of joy...

We love all kinds of science kits (including Mindware) and use them as rainy day/school vacation projects to keep us engaged and off electronic devices. Both children (ages 4 and 9) were able to follow instructions and and participate. The kit contains all parts needed to make several "balls", though finished product is more like a mushy balloon (I was afraid to let them "play" with them outside of the kitchen). My daughter loved this gift! I was hoping it would take longer than a day for her to make everything! The slime did stain her hands, but she didn’t care because it was so fun!!

Grand-daughter, age 8, got this for Christmas. One of the "balls" broke 1 hour after it was finished.....what a mess. The bottle with the sparkles and coloring is just silly. At least make it a fancier container. So make it and shake it......wow! Silly. Very disappointed in this whole kit.

While my daughter had a lot of fun making them, the resultant mixtures are put into balloons. My daughter is 10 and is not rough on things anymore. She was using one of the squishy balls as intended about a week after making them and it broke open while we were in the car and glitter slime was everywhere. She was upset and I was not keen on keeping the remainder of the squishy balls around. This is kind of expensive and a bit wasteful since it has such a short, messy lifespan.

This was fun for the kids to make (with adult help), but two of the balls (which are actually just balloons) broke after less than one day. One ball developed a small hole and we were able to discard before it exploded, but the other one popped and ruined my son's pants. It's a good experiment for the kids, but the balloons should be much stronger than they are.

This is just a slime making kit. The slime gets pushed into balloons to make the “balls”. I would have never ordered if I realized what I was getting myself into. Slime, glitter, food coloring.. Such a mess.

Bought the Squishy ball lab as a Christmas gift for my grandson. He loved it.

I like that kids can learn and play at the same time
