Instructions would have been helpful! Box contained three dinosaurs, one small plastic tub with a lid, three sachets with fairly alarming warnings on them, and that's it. Disappointing.

Don't Buy This!!!!
Please don't buy the crystal dinosaurs and end up disappointing your kids or as I did, my grandson! Tried two of the three dinosaurs with him and he ended up crying after doing each, as they totally didn't work. I haven't called the company as yet, but hope to before the week is out to see if I can get my money back! Sadly, nothing can make up for the way my grandson felt, going from excitement to crying!!!

We are so sorry you had a poor experience. We have found the most successful crystal growing happens when you use boiling water and make sure the container is filled to within 1/2" of the top. It may also help to set a timer for 2 minutes to ensure that you stir long enough for the powder to dissolve. Crystal Dinos!
I have to say my kids loved playing with this product. My only complaint was the size of the dinos. I wish they were a little larger as that would make them easier to place more crystals on. That would make a larger growing space and likewise make more crystals. Otherwise the quality of the product was great.

Crystal Dinosaurs is Creative & Fun for Everyone!
The Crystal Dinosaur kit was fun for our whole family! At first, I thought only my eight-year-old son would be interested in Crystal Dinosaurs, but when I opened it up all three of my kids ( ages 12, 10 & 8 ) wanted to create their own Dinosaur. It would have been easier if there were three containers for each dinosaur so that all 3 of my kids could do it at once, but we still LOVED IT! I was happy to be given Crystal Dinosaurs to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Dino Crystal Growing Kit was a hit at our house!
We loved this crystal growing kit! My 8 yr old was the target age but my 3 yr old was engaged and participated with supervision. The kit has 3 dinosaurs and crystal packets and we liked that each result was different. Instructions are simple - an older child could do this independently with some help boiling the water.
