Product Details

Round up your friends and prepare to get Twangled as you laugh, think, stretch and communicate to get yourselves into and out of a twisted and tangled situation. To play, simply grab the bands and stand in circle. Kick the spinner and follow the instructions, stepping over or under a specified band color. With each spin, your group becomes more and more Twangled. Then it's time work together to untangle the group back into their starting positions! This team-building game develops problem solving skills and gets everyone off the couch and interacting. Includes 8 elastic bands, 1 kick spinner and rules.

Creative Child Magazine Game of the Year Award

Creative Child Magazine's Toy Awards Program is unique in that all products submitted are reviewed by many people, including moms, music educators and early education professionals. Only one product per category can win a Toy of the Year award, Book of the Year Award or Game of the Year Award. The remaining finalists receive a prestigious Preferred Choice award. The Seal of Excellence is another prestigious award that is given to those products that are not finalists but do exceed expectations based on the criteria for nurturing creativity and education in children.

Global Educator Institute Seal of Endorsement

During a six-week in-class trial, teachers consider a range of qualities that separate good products from great ones. Fewer than half the products evaluated receive the GEI Seal of Endorsement. These products improve learning and the learning environment along with their achievement of effectiveness, value, ease of use, and durability.

Fun family game
Twangled was a Christmas gift. That afternoon the family (ages 6-75) enjoyed 3 energetic games. Fun for all of us.

Fun and lots of laughs
I bought this for two of my grandchildren. I remember playing something similar when I was a child. To my delight, the kids loved it.

Fun game
My children’s youth group kids really enjoyed playing Twangled. It takes a little time to figure out how to play...the instructions could give a little more detail.

Fun for the whole family!
We love this game! As a family with 4 kids it is hard to find a game that is fun for all ages and this one is just that!

Not for kids under 10
I would not recommend this game for kids. They don't have the skills to communicate without argument.

Twangled
Sent this to my daughter and her family for Christmas, and she said they had lots of fun with it. My Granddaughters are 5 & 8, and they loved it.

Could this be played when one player is in a wheelchair?
alberta c. | April 1st, 2020
Can this be played with less than 4 players?
| June 27th, 2024
  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking! At least 4 players are needed to play Twangled. This ensures enough hands can hold up a sufficient number of bands to get tangled and untangled in.

Has anyone been snapped in the face or anyplace else if a child just kets the band go?
Annette F. | December 12th, 2022
  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for writing in. We haven't experienced this issue. Players will likely not stand at such a great distance where the bands would be so stretched that they would become a concern.
