Twizzle - What a great game!
As a retired teacher I'm always looking for fun, creative and educational games for my six grandchildren. Twizzle checks all of these boxes. It takes some thoughtful problem solving to create the patterns. I especially like that the pattern cards have four levels - beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert. There are forty pattern cards, ten of each level. Each of the ten cards in each level can be paired in many different combinations. I always play the games myself before introducing

This is another nice logic puzzle game from Mindware. The game board itself is nicely constructed and the pieces move freely. I bought it for my 14yo who loves and is good at logic puzzles and it is definitely making him think! Probably fine for an 8yo with more advanced critical thinking skills, but I might wait until 10 for many kids. The card combos get hard enough that even adults will find it a fun challenge.
