Where’s the time capsule??
Well I like the product for many reasons, but what stands out is my 1 major dislike, there is no time capsule included. Personally, I’d be willing to pay a bit more for a good capsule for my kids to put all of their hard work into. Seems rather silly that there’s not one included.

A kit whose time has come
I made a time capsule when I was young — a bunch of Bicentennial stuff, a ruler (because I thought we were converting to the metric system), some postage stamps, all crammed into a coffee can. This kit takes a much more thoughtful and comprehensive approach to documenting the present on behalf of the future. My kids and their friends like doing the interviews, making predictions, gathering memorabilia and carefully preserving it in archival containers… and especially stamping labels and documents with the date stamp. They love that date stamp! Educational, fun, awesome.

Love it!
Super cool kit! The kids had a great time interviewing people and I love the interaction that brought for them with family members. They love the stamps and continue to use them. What a great way to make a memory and bond with family. My two nieces worked on it together and loved it., they are 9 and 12 and it suited them both really well. It is a unique kit and of good quality and I will purchase it as a gift again in the future.

My daughter loved this!
My daughter chose this and I wasn't sure at first. I figured it would just be a bunch of paper and pencils... after all, what could they put in here? The materials are better than I expected for guiding the experience and definitely more fun than I would have thought to create. You definitely are paying as much for the ideas as the materials, but it is packaged nicely and my daughter LOVES it!
