THE ZIGGURAT has been abandoned for centuries. It’s old and crumbling with vines growing up the sides. The village surrounding it has dwindled. Until one day smoke appears from the summit. Something is stirring inside. You have been called upon by the village elders to investigate. Along the way you must navigate ladders, slides and deadly pits — and all while avoiding “fire spirits” that move through each level. Each ascent to the top of the Ziggurat offers more clues, and even more challenges. To solve the mystery, you and your team must work together to complete each challenge and move to the next level. Embark on this epic adventure developed by legendary game designers Matt Leacock and Rob Daviau and illustrated by the talented artist, Cory Godbey.

A lot of fun and adventure all around
I was given this family board game to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
My family and I have been playing Ziggurat everyday for the past 2 weeks.The best part about playing together is having different experiences each time! Our youngest is finally old enough to appreciate legacy games and he can’t quite get enough. We typically set up on our dining room table and get to it. Each round doesn’t take 20 minutes, which is great for short attention spans. We will keep playing!

Ziggurat Legacy Game
Bring excitement to game night with Ziggurat! Our family was captivated with the gripping storyline and legacy style play of how the outcome of each game affected future play. My favorite part of Ziggurat was the cooperation. Winning is a combined effort and requires the teamwork of the entire family. Fun intro to legacy games for kids
Overall, this is an amazing game. Great illustrations, story, and set up. I was excited to receive this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I play legacy games and wanted to get my kids into it too. It took 20 minutes to set up and learn to play the game, once we figured it out our family has had a lot of fun playing together. Our 7 and 9 year old really love the story and ask to do more chapters nightly. It's hard to find something we all like, and this did the trick!

Fun First-Time Legacy Game Experience
We enjoyed trying Ziggurat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This was my family's first legacy-style game and though our kids (7 and 5) are a bit below the recommended age they engaged just fine given the collaborative nature of the game. We enjoyed the story arc and the mysteries revealed at each chapter. We found the instructions tough to digest up front but fine once we got going. The game was well-constructed minus the stands being too loose to hold up characters. Fun game overall!

Exciting Adventure for the Whole Family!
Our family loved playing our first legacy game, Ziggurat, together (kids 8 & 7).
The best part was how easy it was to learn new rules over 6 chapters which got increasingly complex. We also loved how it required us to work together to be successful.
Pros: Great artwork, especially the storybook and multi-level game board. Cons: The hero stands don't always stay on. Stickers are an odd design choice.

Questions & Answers 4 Questions
For someone with the shoes item that lets you move an extra space, when you have a card that moves everyone, do they all get that effect or only you? Same with when you’ve reached the top and are helping others?
