A great one-on-one or family game!
My 2.5 year old little absolutely LOVES to play this game! And the best part is that we actually enjoy playing it with her! Educational, cute, & fun all in one. Reinforces listening skills while also teaching other skills. Animals are very soft & plush & mat is plastic so it wipes clean easily. It's a blast playing both on the mat & running around the house following the cards. Highly recommended!

My 3 Year Old Loves it!
My 3 year old son loves this game. Lot's to lean with this game! You got colors, animals and their habitats, learning about each animal habitat, being observant, getting up and moving, and learning about things in the room. He requests to play at least once a week!

Gets them up and moving
Bought for my 4 year old grandson; with the help of his 6 year old sister reading the cards, they were up and moving. It was fun to see how excited they were playing Zoo on the Loose.

Fun for kids and grandmas
My 4 year old granddaughter LOVES playing this game with me. Today we played with the purple card version and had a blast placing the animals all over the house.

Cute but could be improved
Pros:
Cute animals can be used with or without the game
Teaches position and directional words
Active game option
Fun for young ones to play with their family
Cons:
Expensive
Quality of animals and cards is not great for the price
Wording on some of the game cards is odd and not grammatically correct

Fun game
The game was a great activity for our soon to be five year old granddaughter. We followed the instructions included with the game and talked about the various images and colors on the game mat, then talked about all the different colors of the circles. The animals were placed in the proper circles on the mat, and we played the game twice, using the different colored game cards. Our granddaughter got to practice sounding out words, and loved moving around to put animals in place

Such a joy!
I played Zoo on the Loose with my almost 3 year old yesterday. We played in two different modes, one using the game pad and the other using the wider house. Both were delightful. I think my granddaughter would have played the game the whole morning except that her mom came home and interrupted us.

The perfect toddler gift
This was the perfect gift for my very creative 3 1/2 yr grandson. We had so much fun playing with it, and it gave him creative choices beyond the game. Even my 2 yr grandson could get in the action.

Excellent for home or school
I absolutely love this game! My own children have loved it and played it for years. Now that I am a preschool teacher, I bought a second game for my class to play. The game is lots of fun for kids, and as an educator, I appreciate that it incorporates so many facets of learning while also getting kids moving. I highly recommend it!

Great for kids with autism/delays
Our daughter has autism and global delays. We’ve owned this game at least 3 years and keep finding new skills to teach her with it. She has learned turn taking, animal identification, colors, positions (over/under/next to etc), practiced reading the cards, worked on social skills—it may seem overpriced, but it’s been used hundreds of times in our household. She’s 7 and now I have her “teach” her stuffed animals about how to play the game, plus she now uses the purple cards.
