Ratings & Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful quality. Cheap cardboard This product is of such low quality construction I was stunned. Cheap cardboard “walls” that do not actually fit the structure provided. My son was so disappointed - this sounds like a great idea but one of the worst toys I’ve seen at this price point. Total rip off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My son loves it My son opened this with his Grandpa and he just loved playing it. He loves Legos and putting things together. He couldn't wait to show it to the rest of the family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8 year-old loved it. My grandson loved this and his Dad said it's a good "brain" toy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing My granddaughter is an avid builder with many types of blocks, so we thought this would be a natural for her. She is almost 9, so well within the age/maturity level suggested. However, even with my son's help, this was not an inspiring experience for her. The "building blocks" are folder paste board which does not stay square. In addition the tab used to hold the block together sticks out making them unbalanced. The supports fit together very loosely making the construction phase very frustrating. I'll have to follow up, but I suspect this won't be a "go to" activity for her.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as Cool as Described Christmas present for 10 year old boy. Lots of punching out cardboard pieces. Long sticks that direct the shaking were tricky. Booklet was not much. Disappointed and it went to the thrift store on day 2.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun My nine-year-old loves this toy. Only downfall is it’s a little bit on the load side

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I believe the idea behind this item is fantastic but the quality is disappointing. The best part of the lab is the color manual that explains earthquakes and building structures. The blocks are made of very thin cardboard that will not hold up well. After one use you can see some wear on some of the blocks. My 7 year old constructed a building and it was still standing after all the earthquake keys and has no further interest in this lab. This should not be the case. I would have thought this would be a challenge and provided many hours of building and learning.
