This kit includes everything a little paleontologist needs to explore: 3 big dig eggs, an explorer’s vest and 5 tools based on real paleontologist instruments. Use the explorer’s vest pockets and Velcro closures to keep your discoveries safe. The reusable plastic mat makes clean-up easy – wash it in the sink and use it again and again. To start digging, just soak each 2.25” x 4” clay dino egg in water, then chisel away to discover a T-Rex, a Stegosaurus or a Triceratops! Read the fun-fact cards to learn about the dinos you uncover. Kids really enjoyed the anticipation
The kids really enjoyed it. I wish 2 of the “hammers” would have been included so we didn’t have to wait till one was done before the next child could work on theirs - it’s a thing with twins.

BIG HIT WITH 4 YEAR OLD
This was a huge hit with my four year old grandchild. He ABSOLUTELY loved digging out the dinosaurs and named each one. The excavated dinos had to be present to meet the new ones when they were dug out. Did periodically submerge egg again in water as it would dry out while my grandson worked with chisel and hammer which made it easier for him to "dig".
