No glue or connectors required...simply stack wood planks to create buildings, monuments and geometric forms. Its the ideal activity to help kids gain an understanding of balance and proportion, as well as an interest in architecture, building and design. Great concept but very bad maple quality. Great customer care.
Great concept. But I got very bad maple planks (splinters, chipping, stains). am glad that they have excellent customer care. I am going to return this product. I would recommend buying pine planks from KEVA. Save your money and not waste on maple.

Simple yet sensational!
These were a back to school/pandemic/can’t go much of anywhere gift to the kids. They have since spent hours (literally hours, over the course of multiple afternoons) playing with these. They build, they destroy—and part of the fun is the toppling of gigantic towers. They are learning engineering and perseverance as well creativity and (when they opt to work together) cooperation! No idea how simple planks of beautiful wood have this magical power but I’ll take it!

What is the difference between the maple and contraption planks?

  • BEST ANSWER: Contraption planks are made of pine and include balls for creating working contraptions. Maple sets are made of maple which will show less wear over prolonged use and do not include balls.
