Good for young kids with art skills.
My 9 year old granddaughter enjoyed painting these bowls and vases. Easy to do. Not messy. We were just sorry the finished product could not be used for food or liquids.

Big hit with the grandkids!
Given as birthday gift to my 8-year-old granddaughter. I wasn't there, but my daughter says it was a huge hit, even my 11-year-old grandson couldn't wait to get in on the fun! The kids worked on their masterpieces for hours, never once asking for the TV to be turned on or wanting to play with their electronics...a welcome change! I can't wait to see the results. Only one problem: how am I going to top this for Christmas?!!

How do you bake the item once painted?

  • BEST ANSWER: To achieve the best results and brightest paint colors allow the painted porcelain 24 hours of drying time. You will then preheat your oven to 225 degrees F. Set the painted porcelain on a baking sheet and carefully place it in the oven. You will then bake the porcelain in the oven for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn the oven off. The porcelain will be very hot, leave the porcelain in the oven to cool before removing.
