Cute but not for outdoors
Very cute. My daughter had a wonderful time painting them with the vibrant colors. We followed the instructions to bake them closely but when we put them outside in the "fairy garden", they quickly disintegrated (paint peeling and chunks chipping off) much to the disappointment of my daughter.

I have a neighborhood with thirteen children it in. During this COVID19 pandemic I am sure they are pushing their parents to the brink! I purchased one for each child so they could have something to do on a rainy day. Each and every one of them were so excited and grateful. They couldn't wait to show me when they were done. It made my whole month! Thank you do much for the stepping stones. What a great product!

Paint quality disappointing.
The sonte garden was neat. The paint that came with it was a little watered down. So the gold paint was a little disappointing especially when my 7 year old wanted to paint the unicorn horn gold.

I got it for my three and five year old grandchildren (girls). They loved it. They made decisions about who would paint which parts, then executed it very nicely. They've chosen a spot for it in the yard. Big success. The box says it's for ages 8+ and I'm not sure why. Just needs help from parents with the oven-bake part.

It says for best results allow painted stones 24 hours drying time. Is that before you bake them or after?

  • BEST ANSWER: Bake the stone in the oven for 30 minutes at 225° F on a baking sheet. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off. The stone will be very hot so allow the stone time to cool in the oven prior to removal.

  • BEST ANSWER: We would suggest a Paint Your Own Stepping Stone like the Dinosaur Footprint or Turtle. We also have slightly larger Paint Your Own Stone Decor like our Frog, Turtle or Whale. I have attached a few options here for you.

What is the purpose of baking the item? Will it release any chemicals during the baking process?
