Should there be space along the side of the blocks? They don't fit snugly in the tray and slide around even when complete. Is this normal?

Some patterns only have rectangle pieces. From what I can see, there are no rectangle pieces included in the box. I see nowhere to purchase rectangle pieces either. How are these patterns to be completed with the necessary colors when the only pieces included all have an angled end?

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for asking. Sometimes you will need to stack angled ends on top of each other to create the illusion of a complete rectangle with blunt ends when they are laid in the tray.
