Mix, match, score and win! Qwirkle is a must-have for your next family game night. MindWare's best seller is a simple game of matching colors and shapes that requires tactical maneuvers, quick-thinking and a well-planned strategy. Players of this addictive game score points by building rows and columns of brightly-colored tiles that are either all the same color or all the same shape, without creating duplicates. Look for opportunities to score big by placing a tile that touches multiple pieces with matching attributes; create a line of all six in a row, and you score a "Qwirkle". The player with the most points when the tiles run out wins! Qwirkle combines the game play of Dominoes and Scrabble and is the perfect combination of skill and chance! This easy-to-learn, yet challenging game for children and adults will have all three generations on the edge of their seat! Grab your family and friends and see for yourself why everyone is hooked on Qwirkle! For 2 to 4 players.

• Teaches colors, shapes, math and the importance of strategizing
• Strengthens language and problem-solving skills
• Challenging enough for even the most competitive teens and adults
• 108 durable wooden tiles and canvas drawstring bag for easy clean up and storage

Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the game - colors are a little difficult, though We love the game, but we all agree that some of the colors are difficult to tell apart. Especially the red/orange, and the purple/blue. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference. I play the online game, and have switched to the High Contrast colors. It would be nice if the tiles could use similar high contrast colors. White instead of red, and maybe grey instead of blue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love, but why a smaller thinner tile bag??? We love playing Qwirkle with family, first and foremost! So on Valentine’s Day when I purchased it for my son he was ecstatic! When we opened the box the tile bag barely fit all the tiles and is a thinner cheaper material that you can see the remaining tile faces through!! My parents’ and brother’s bag is a thicker material and large enough to mix the tiles and house them within the box; the box can’t be closed with the tiles in the bag. Very disappointed in the decrease of quality put into this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this game I love this game! I have bought it several times as a gift, and everyone loves it. Works well for a family since many ages can play at once (and it's a challenge for everyone). It's much more fun than lots of other games for younger kids, so parents usually appreciate it! And it's a great bridge to more complicated or strategic games. I will say that the bonus pack is not worth anything... the holders for the tiles aren't the right size (it's more work to get the tiles in and out of the holder, and honestly they stand up just fine on their own). The score pad and pencil are nice, but scrap paper works just the same. But since I didn't pay any extra for the Bonus pack I'm not too upset.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game I play this game with my twin grandsons, age 8. It makes you think about colors and shapes. Sometimes we look at our completed work and realize, oops, that tile doesn't go there. So, I just remove the tile and put it back in the bag and we continue on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fun & educational game I bought this for a very clever 5+ yr old and it was a little tough for him at first, but as we played more games & he watched how others played, he soon caught on & got better at the game. I'd definitely buy this game again or recommend it to others, especially w/my background as a teacher. Being able to find similarities & differences between objects is a great lesson that will help your child on so many more levels! I can't say enough good things about this game. We love it!
