Product Details

The follow-up to one of the most awarded games of all time! Qwirkle Cubes plays much like our original Qwirkle game--create rows and columns of matching colors or shapes to score the most points--but adds to the strategy because you can roll your cubes for more chances to play the exact shapes you want! Also, because everyone plays open-handed, you can analyze your opponents' future moves. 2 to 4 players.

I love this game, but i have run into a dispute with my husband and we haven't played since. I need to resolve this in writing (he is that stubborn). He put two orange tiles onto a line and then turned a corner, beginning a new line in the same move as adding two tiles to the existing line. Basically he played three orange tiles but turned the corner so he could place a square, where the other line already had one. Not allowed, I said. Then he said that every time I make a line touching an existing line, I am doing the same thing. It's inane, I know, because building off of what is there is the only way to play, but is apparently not distinguished precisely enough in the rules, that there is no turning a corner. I need official documentation apparently, detailing what's NOT allowed to clear this up. We are both Taurus, which is half the problem. HELP, Mindware!! I want to play more, but without fighting.

I bought this thinking it would be bigger. The cubes are the size of dice. Hard to play.

We are Senior Citizens who always encouraged our children to play games that taught or at least exercised the mind. 2 of our 3 sons had IQ's over 140, (over 40 years ago). We got the Cubes for our home and sent the Quirkle to two of our sons with children. All love the game. We play the Cubes here, and even our 8 year old grandson quickly picked up on the game and we all enjoy it. I recommend both Qwirkle games for all ages. Great, clean family fun for anyone over 4, I'd say.

Absolute Hit of the Year!
Purchased as a gift for our godson, the 11-year-old was over-the-moon in receiving Quirkle Cubes, the #1 "Santa ask" on his Christmas gift. He loves the other versions and is enjoying this new one tremendously! It's fun, educational, and develops thinking stills and strategies...the perfect item for kids and families to enjoy together, as well!

What is the measurement of each individual cube and also the completed large cube,?
| November 30th, 2023
  • BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question. Cube pieces measure 3/4" square. Pieces are rolled like a dice on each turn and then game play is completed flat on a table top instead of forming a "completed cube". We hope this answers your question. If not, email us a [email protected]. We're here to help!
