I did not read the fine print
I really thought (my mistake) that being a password required that it actually needed a password, did not realize it was a basic lock and key type..the girls loved it but I was disappointed mostly with myself

Great gift with lock and key
My grandson loved this gift for Christmas ,he draws in it and writes his stories .... He really liked the lock and key.

Is password actually required to open? Are numbered keys actual keys?

  • BEST ANSWER: The cover of the book is designed to mimic a safe, but does not actually function as touch keys with a password. A padlock and key are used to open and secure the diary.
