I was sent this game to try out and here is my honest review: I played the game with my 3 sons and they actually enjoyed learning how to play! Learning a new game is always stressful for them but once they figured it out it went quickly and was a ton of fun. I enjoyed the fact that the strategies can be simple or complex and it was interesting to watch my boys try and figure out how they work and slowly start attempting more complex configurations.

We are a family that loves to play games. This game was a lot of fun. It took my kids a few turns to fully understand the game. However once they figured it out they taught me and we all really enjoyed the game. It is a fun matching game, that is simple, but enjoyable. Easy to setup, easy to play! We played for almost an hour and that is a long time for them to not only sit and play, but get along while playing a game. If you love strategy games this one is for you! Skor is very easy to learn and fun for the whole family. The directions are clear, and it only took one game for everyone to understand the objective. Each person can create their own strategy and the combination of luck and skill required makes for fun and exciting rounds. My biggest complaint is the colors are not very distinct. Even the young eyes of my school-aged children had trouble distinguishing between the woodsy tones. I also wish there was a better way to organize the pieces. Skor is a stacking strategy game that is fun for the whole family. This game is for 2-4 players aged 6 and up. The directions were full of illustrations and clearly showed how to play. My 9 and 10 year old could easily understand the directions. The only con for our family was the maximum players were 4 and we are a family of 7; but we just turned it into a competition style, so everyone would get a turn. This was a really fun game. I like that the rules were simple enough that my 9 year old could understand them easily. It didn't take forever to set up like some games do. I was able to read through the instructions very quickly and set the game up right away. The only thing needed for set up is creating the little fences by folding the included cardboard and setting out all of the sheilds. I really liked that you could match by inner color or outer color. Skor was recently the game of choice for our family night and now there is now a bit of rivalry in our household! This game was both fun and challenging for the kids and adults, alike. If you want to play hardcore, there is strategy and planning involved but my 6 year old was also able to enjoy playing at a more basic level.
