Go with the smaller sets!
Was hoping for equal quality but did not see that pan out. The larger set had some so so specimens while smaller set actually had some decent sized crystal geodes. The fools gold was ok. But several of the geodes were solid with little chambers for mineral growth.

Disappointed
We Have yet to figure out how to open these up; they are very hard and difficult to open. Was very excited for theses sets but disappointed at the fact we were not able to open any of them no matter what technique we tried.

Fantastic discovery
Covering a geology unit with my grandkids was so much fun. These geodes were spectacular for the kids to discover! Well done !
