From the classic tale of cooperation comes this simple game where players work together to “cook” a soup by making matches of ingredients before the fire goes out. Everyone wins! Kids work together, they help each other, and they practice just what the Stone Soup story is all about – cooperation! A cooperative game eliminates stress, builds self-esteem, and teaches kids that playing together can be fun. 2-6 players. INCLUDES: 1 game board, 24 soup ingredients cards, 1 magic stone card, 10 fire out cards, A Tale Of Stone Soup story and instructions.

We're keeping our Kingdom green - it's good for our planet and good for our kids. All the paper and boards in this cooperative game are made with FSC papers and printed with soy-based inks. All of the plastic parts in our games are made using a corn-based plastic. It is phthalate and BPA free and will biodegrade over time. We are happy to say that this game and all of its parts can be recycled. Keeping our planet healthy and sustainable is key to us at Peaceable Kingdom.

Surprised how much daughter enjoyed this.
My four year old daughter loves this game. A simple games that exercises memory, verbal skills, visual skills, organizational skills, intrapersonal skills. There is a lot more going on here than initially meets the eye. It's well worth the price.

Great story and fun game
Well made board game with nice colors and all materials are recyclable. Included is a sheet of paper that tells the story of stone soup which is nice to be able to share the story with kids. The game is very fun and goes quickly so kids will want to play it over and over. It is exciting to play. Players try not to turn over fire pieces because if all the fire pieces end up under the kettle the game is over.

The boys love it
We have two young grandsons two years apart in age. They play together reasonably well but when things get a bit testy, redirecting them to this type of cooperative game seems to bring them back to cordiality. The older one loves to coach the younger one so this is a perfect opportunity for him to do that without looking like Mr. Know-it-All.
