Durability and design
These are not the pop beads of my day! They are durable and have amazing variety and design. The 7 year olds at our birthday party got right to work making rings,bracelets AND snakes! (One little boy insisted on taking three of his snakes home.) I was concerned that the price was a little high, but the product will definitely last forever. I brought a tub to dump the beads in and a three drawer organizer to separate the rings,bracelets and necklaces. Didn't really need to, as the jar they come in is very sturdy.

I purchased this for a four and a five year old. They both love it. The fiveyear old can spend hours creating unique pieces of jewelry and enjoys wearing them and showing them off.

Great product and company just a little pricey
The product is great as usual. But the problem is, it's expensive. My children and I always liked getting Mindware catalogs years ago and looking at all the good toys but this was in the days before all the online retailers and now I see their prices are nearly double that of others. I don't mind paying a little bit more since they are hand selected and you can trust they are of good quality and it's a smaller company. But double? Maybe this use to work with rich grandparents but not any longer.

very fun beads for kids and older
these beads are fun to create with. I am a grandma and had fun making necklaces and bracelets and rings and other fun crazy patterns.
my granddaughters loved them. some of the pieces are very small, so be careful with little children. my kids also pretended that some of the parts were other things and created food platters and such with them. my daughter-in-law is an OT specialist and she said she was going to purchase these for kids that need fine motor coordination training.

This is a great gift for a four year old. There are so many shapes and colors to choose. The rings are a real bonus. My granddaughters are having as much fun as I did playing with the original pop-it beads 60+ years ago. They will be used a lot.
