GREAT GAME !!!!!!!
Qwirkle is a great game and lots of fun! My wife and 5 year old daughter both like the game. I'm very happy that I discovered the game and enjoy the ease of playing it. I was worried that it wouldn't arrive before Christmas but it did! Thank you Mindware for a great experience all around.

A great game but needs quality improvement.
I was really excited to see a more durable edition because, even after painting the regular sets with several coats of lacquer, they wear out after about 100 plays. Alas, these are also wearing out. There has to be some way of sealing these tiles so they survive being stirred in the bag. And speaking of bags, they need to be sewn with a surger so it doesn't split open after a few weeks. And how about some plastic racks instead of the cheap wood that splinters? Now THAT would be delux!

Material weakness?
I absolutely love this game & am very pleased to see it in this material instead of wood. However I do have ONE problem with this material. It seems to have weak spots in it which has caused a chip to appear in one of the yellow X's. Since my husband & I are the only players, I wonder how well they're going to hold up?

We play this game all the time it’s a good game to keep our minds thinking !!! This is the 3rd game we have bought & are hoping the acrylic tiles will last longer we keep wearing the paint off of the wooden ones !!! The collectors editions is awesome with the metal box & racks to hold tiles on,plus the acrylic tiles should last longer. We think they need a bigger bag so you can mix the tiles up better!!! 😊

This is 2nd game purchased - though seems overpriced, the painted wooden tiles on the less expensive game don’t hold up - colors fade as paint wears off. We play almost daily and love the game!!!

Our deluxe Qwirkle tiles are losing their colors as we play 3-5 games everyday. How can the tiles be replaced or repainted?

  • BEST ANSWER: We also play this game a lot and the tiles are losing their color as well. Replacement tiles would a good idea. The fading color would not keep me from purchasing this game again because we LOVE it.
