Product Details

The easy-to-assemble electrical circuits in this kit are enough to build 20 different projects, including a remote-controlled rover with responsive left/right and forward/backward motion. A multi-function wireless controller is included, as well as a full-color assembly manual with instructions for all projects. The Snap Circuits Rover requires one 9-volt and six AA batteries (not included). 30 pieces. About 11"L x 9"W x 4"H.

Excellent for teaching electronics and problem-solving.
The kids loved the rover. Their first time putting it together, they didn't follow the directions correctly, so I told them to go back through and check every step, so they got a lesson in problem solving before getting it working on the second try. The only thing I'd warn about this toy is that it's very noisy (about as loud as a power drill), so not the best for entertaining them before adults wake up.

Disappointed grandma
Purchsed as a Christmas gift for my grandson. Very long story short - first one worked for about 5 minutes on Christmas day. Second one worked for about a day and a half. Have sent both back, waiting on refund. Very disappointed in this expensive toy. Needless to say, my grandson was sad his main Christmas gift turned out to be of such poor quality.

Wishing this would drive
Well the rover does everything else but drive..i tried everything redo check over new parts..and still wont drive..son took it to science class to have teacher look at it (they use them in his classroom) still nothing cant figure it out and cant return..

Waste of money
Very disappointed. I thought the child would build the whole car from the kit, like the gears an axles, and everything. All there was to do was snap a small number of the circuits to the top of the already built car. It took him about ten minutes and it was done. It's a $15.00 remote controlled car that cost me $100.00 Yikes!
