I bought this set for my 8 & 10 year old as a summer project. They are very independent crafters. My 8 yo was about 5 minutes into trying to paint the dog when I hear 'Oh No'. The paint is SUPER runny so regardless of how you hold it, it dribbles down the animal and all over the table (or your hand). She let the base color dry for about 10 min and tried adding another color. The new color completely bled into the existing one. Total mess and super frustrating.
