Ratings & Reviews

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pieces don’t fit The Chaos Tower was a big disappointment. The cross beam connectors were too large to fit into the pipes. We were unable to construct anything. We are returning it. Customer service has been very helpful. They sent us a return label and will refund the cost of the product. We do recommend the STEM construction sets. Our 8 year old loves them, and the pieces fit beautifully.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from some of the long pieces fit to tightly and crack... Cracks result in either a broken piece or inability to change the construction later. The instructions are online with a young girl hosting the video. Great idea, but she is wearing a black top which makes it nearly impossible to distinguish what she is showing. However, my grandson was at least able to get the tower started without help. and he does love it. Had trouble with the initial order, but Mindware fixed the problems with absolutely no hassle and the gift was delivered in plenty of time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT buy this! I purchased two of the Chaos Towers for my fifth grade gifted & talented enrichment class. I might as well have taken $300 out of my already small budget and lit it on fire. This is cheap junk. The pieces barely fit together, and when they did they cracked, broke, or snapped. The building instructions were useless. I wish I could get back the time that the kids spent on it, not to mention the money. Purchase this product at your own risk of being disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun, but NOT easy I would recommend this but with reservations. This was a "Santa" present so we wanted it set up before my son woke up. It took my husband and his two brothers over two hours to put together. It is very flimsy as others have commented. We spent much of Christmas morning telling my son to be gentle, not to touch the supports, etc., over and over over. He finally was okay with it and loved watching it, but this is not something he will change around. That's disappointing because my husband was really looking forward to that being something they could build together, but we'll have to find another toy for that. But, this does turn out really cool when it's all together.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Assembly instructions are no aweful As fun as this will be once it is together... it is no where near easy to put together, the instructions are awful. I was hopeful with YouTube assistance but they are just as bad as the one page instructions that come the box. The girl in the video shows pain in her hands from putting it together. I can not and will not recommend this product. For the money that was spent, you could have included a few more instruction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is very unsturdy! My 8-year-old son and I were very excited to build this tower, but it proved difficult to build (and he's a very skilled builder with a LOT of patience). The pieces fit together either too tightly or too loosely... very few were just right.... so it wasn't stable enough to work the way it was intended. It's unfortunate, because the concept sounded great. Hopefully, the manufacturer will fix these flaws, as this product is not cheap to purchase and could be great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Built one way and now it sits I bought this for my seven year old. He built it one way and the tower is not sturdy, even when placed on a hard surface. It takes time to build one way and my son does not have the patients to build it another way or even play with it because of the lack of sturdiness. I see for our family it was a waste of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from shaky and very touchy. The product is flimsy, unstable & touchy. As my granddaughter uses it, if she touches, the structure with normal contact, it needs, frequent re-alignment. Sorry I purchased this product for her Christmas gift. I am looking for a replacement gift.
