My kids got this for Christmas. Not at ALL impressed, though I love the concept.

As always, the Keva planks are great fun, providing hours of open-ended play. The 'contraptions' label is a bit misleading, as this product is nothing more than regular Keva planks, with the addition of 2 balls and a great idea book. I ordered this believing that chutes and ramps would be included. Not the case, but since the price was similar to the basic planks, maybe even cheaper, I'm happy we got them. Worth it, just for the idea book!

Very fun and creative! Adults had fun helping the kids make cool contraptions. The instruction booklet is a great guide.
My grandsons have autism and contraptions has been a learning toy for him

The whole family enjoys creating ball mazes the hardest part is deconstructing the ones that work really well.

This was a hit this Christmas. All of my family played with it from the toddler to the adult. Great for creativity!

love the concept and the fact that it inspires creativity, but I was pretty disappointed when I realized that it is just a box of same sized wooden planks. IMO it's excessively overpriced - for the price there really should be more to it.
