Our whole family is loving this game. Our kids ages 4,11,13and 16 have been building contraptions everywhere. We're already thinking of getting another set or more planks to make our creations larger and more complicated. The book that is included gives you tons of ideas and is clear and easy to build from. It is better than any of the marble track systems we've had and has the bonus of the planks which are a great toy on their own.

Excellent for a gifted 9-yo boy who is obsessed with building. But doesn't work too well on carpet.

Really amazing. We bought it for my 8-year-old stepson - but all of us adults had fun with it too. Just beware that it can take some patience to build the taller towers - he got a little frustrated when things toppled.

We got these for our 9 year old for Christmas. He and his older 11 year old brother are loving them. As soon as they finish their homeschool work, they are off upstairs to create new structures. They are thrilled with them!

We love the un-tech aspect of your products. This is going to be one of our all-time favorites. Both boys (8 and 10) and their parents are having a great time working together on these contraptions.

While 200 wood planks might not seem too exciting, Contraptions is one of the coolest creative building sets with which my family has ever played. We want more... 200 isn't enough and we're actually fighting over them. Structurally, they're amazing not only to feel, but also in strength. Using all 200 blocks, we were able to build a tower that was nearly 4ft tall and was able to support my 7 year old while she sat on the top. (I have photos!) Awesome product.
