I don't understand the suction mechanism?

Why can’t the product be made slightly smaller, 20s by 20s largest so that they can fit on tables? Puzzles that are 26 x 31 or bigger I would love to get for my grandchildren but never do because there is no place to lay them out. Why don’t distributors realize this?
