SO Challenging SO much fun!
ALL my friends have the game. WE LOVE IT. We have Qwirkle nights and shout "QWIRKLE" and clink drinks when a Qwirkle is achieved. We use a large rubber mat to play on so pieces can't accidentally be disrupted.

Wonderful but NEEDS a new color scheme
This is a great game and so easy to introduce quickly even to people who typically don't enjoy board games as much. My only ask is that PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release a variant of the game with a different color scheme. The colors are an issue for both people with even mild color blindness but also everyone struggle with certain lighting. It's super annoying honestly and hurts the enjoyment of the game.

Love Game but difficult if Color Blind
My family of 6 absolutely love this game. The only issue I have is that my 3 color blind sons have a really hard time telling the difference between the different colors on the blocks. Especially the purple/blue ones. I ended up using a Sharpie marker and writing the letter of each color on the top of the block so that they could tell the difference. It would be really nice for others who are colorblind if there were a color friendly version of this game.

A Qwirkle in each of Our Family Homes
Our family have always been big game fans for our family times. We now have Qwirkle to add to our favorites list! It is easy to learn and has lots of strategy for the most serious of players and can be played simple enough for the young. Here is our thankful part~ even though my husband is color blind, he is still able to join in enjoying the game, asking for help at times with the colors. The colors are bright enough for him to decipher them fairly well as long as the lighting is good.

Magnetic scoreboard would be more helpful.
Excellent game! This one Bought for seniors- racks very helpful. Score board although good idea may be easier to use if magnetic- one bump and your score is lost.

I love the game Quirkle, but I have some eyesight issues and have a very hard time seeing the purple, green and blue shapes on the black tiles. Is there any possibility that they could make the game with the shapes on white tiles?

  • BEST ANSWER: I agree! I work with children who have some eyesight issues, as does my mother. While they love this game, they cannot play because it is so difficult to differentiate between the colors. Putting them on white tiles would easily resolve this. Even those of us with perfect eyesight would benefit when playing in low or dim light. Please make this game more accessible to all!!
