I ordered this for my grandson, almost 6, who likes to play games with his mom and dad. Unlike many games for young children, this one is suitable for all ages so even the adults enjoy it. Also my grandson asks to play every day and told me it was his favorite! The game is very well made to last throughout many years. I would reccomend getting the 4racks to set your pieces in while playing

Perfect Game
This Game was fun and I thought this game is great for kids starting to learn there colors and shapes. I also think that the size of the piece's are perfect easy to handle and are great for kids with fine motor skills. My kids loved playing it it keep them busy for hours!

Love, but why a smaller thinner tile bag???
We love playing Qwirkle with family, first and foremost!
So on Valentine’s Day when I purchased it for my son he was ecstatic! When we opened the box the tile bag barely fit all the tiles and is a thinner cheaper material that you can see the remaining tile faces through!! My parents’ and brother’s bag is a thicker material and large enough to mix the tiles and house them within the box; the box can’t be closed with the tiles in the bag. Very disappointed in the decrease of quality put into this game.

clever game idea -- updates would be good though!
Like the game a lot. A couple of the tiles (painted wood) however were imperfect when they were brand new. Also, the design isn't always centered on the tile -- not a huge deal -- but kind-of lowers the quality factor. Would prefer if they were plastic like rummikub pieces (or bananagrams) and a size in between the standard version and the travel version. The standard version is a tad big (especially if it were plastic). I prefer the travel version for regular play but it could be a tad (but just a tad larger) for better viewing. Also, the reds and oranges sometimes look almost the same (especially on the black background) ... might be easier to distinguish these colors on a white background.

fun for adults too
This is fun for the adults, but the scoring can be tricky and unrealistic for kids. However, we keep it simple for the kids and just have them match the colors and shapes. They enjoy it. We just don't keep score with them.

The Bonus Pack is a big plus!!
I played this game with friends before I purchased it for myself. You definitely want the bonus pack because the tile racks make it easier to view the tiles and distinguish between the close colors or shapes. The only thing that could be better is a larger bag for the tiles. It is hard to mix the tiles in the bag that comes with the set. Great game for families, couples or girls night in. Also, the delivery was a head of schedule. Well done!!
