I bought board games for my daughters and their children for Christmas. The family that received Qwirkle loves this game that can be played by mom, dad, 11 year old sister and 6 year old brother. I'm looking forward to surprising them with another award winning game from MindWare soon!

This is a great game for all ages. Our last game included persons from the ages of 13 to 80. You find yourself trying to make the highest score possible. Yet no matter how hard you try the next person can easily top your score if you don't carefully pick you play. We love Qwirkle.

I'm also a preschool teacher. This product has so many different ways to be played...allows for a great deal of creativity. The 4 year old and I came up with 3 ways to play...all that kept his interest and got him thinking about what else he could come up with. Definitely, an open ended product.

A little difficult for a 5 yr. old to follow the rules but have played with it making up own games which is also fun.
