My husband and I are 'senior citizens', and a friend brought over Qwirkle one evening and we sat around the dining room table playing. My husband and I loved it. It may say it is for 6 and up, but it's great for keeping our Senior minds active. We liked it so much, I bought it for a Christmas present for my husband.

This game is so much fun for the entire family. 'Santa' brought it for Christmas, and we have played it every night so far (10 Jan). I can't give this game enough stars.

My granddaughter is 4 and I modified the rules so that she could play. They are:A) Draw three tiles to start, play one tile per turn, draw a new tile after you play. B) On your turn, place your tile next to another tile so that it matches either the color or the pattern. The placed tile must match either the color or the pattern of each tile it touches (this is a very important rule). Sometimes you can place a tile so that it matches two or three tiles it touches. These placements are good for back-slaps and atta-boys. The tiles are very colorful and easily keep our kids attention. Adults can even play by these rules and be challenged somewhat.

We love this game- lots of thinking and strategy involved, but can be played by many ages at varying levels of competition.

Great game, and very challenging in a good way for the kids. My daughter is only six and she loves to play dominos, but this is way better for her,because it teaches her about color, shape, patterns, problem solving, and having more fun with others oppose to playing by herself. Fun game definitely.

I debated the travel version, and I am SOOOOO glad that I bought the full-sized version. This is a GREAT family game that can even be played by our 5-year-old, but is still fun for much older children and parents too. I was very pleased and SO glad I bought it.

Great toy for almost all ages. Can adjust the rules to fit the age of the participant.
