Almost perfect
The shapes and board were as good as the description. I didn't give five stars because the case they came in started to come apart. My son was going to have to glue it so that it wouldn't completely fall apart.

Imagination patterns
Homeschooling my 3 yr old grand and he loves these. A little difficult for him right now to do the patterns. Not too many very simple ones. He loves the ''magnets''. We will work on up in the difficulty. A quality product

Very Creative Item
I have bought Imagination Magnets for 4 of my great-nephews, ages 2 to 4. The children and parents love this product. They love to write and draw on the dry-erase board and copy the patterns exactly by shape and color that are included.

My great nieces loved this toy!
I purchased one for each great niece age 3, and both started playing with it immediately and seemed very excited and interested. They looked like they loved all the colors and were able to begin making designs on their own right away. I knew they would need their parents or older siblings to help with creating the suggested figures, but a toy that can keep a 3 year olds interest for more than 15 minutes at a time is a good one!

Age appropriate
My three year old grandson started playing with this immediately. Within minutes he was able to construct a pirate ship from one of the provided patterns. He is planning to take it along on a long car ride this summer due to the clever carry case. No spilled pieces, they're all magnets! It was a hit!

Wonderful creative possibilities
I purchased this product, and it's companion Imagination Magnets, sight unseen for Christmas gifts, feeling pretty certain that my 3 year old twin granddaughters would have lots of fun with the various shapes and sizes. Not only have they used the included cards for guidance in recreating pictures, but they quickly came up with their own designs. And their 6 year old sister has also been having a wonderful time "designing" with these shapes. That the pieces are well- magnetized and in a sturdy wooden storage/ carrying case will also make these "toys" perfect for trips! I made a great choice in selecting this item and the Imagination Magnets. I should add that my order was processed very quickly which was a big plus! Highly recommend...

Great for the 3 year old artist.
My granddaughter loved the colors, shapes and possibilities. Her parents loved the traveling case and double surfaces. She can now work on all sorts of creations in the car on the 12 hour ride home, all with no mess. Only drawback--she keeps wanting to show her creations to those in the front seat.
